Dan Marsh

Senior Program Manager of NDC HEDC Public-Private Partnerships with more than 35 years experience in local government, nonprofit management private sector development, and in financing public private partnerships

In 1989, Dan formed and served as the Founding President of the NDC Housing and Economic Development Corporation (HEDC), a national 501(c)(3) charitable organization with the public purpose to lessen the burdens of government through development of affordable housing and public facilities projects. He created a nationally recognized housing program using tax-exempt financing with no down payment and pioneered a public facility development program utilizing 501(c)(3) tax-exempt bonds. HEDC has financed and built projects with a value in excess of $2 billion.

Dan has devoted his professional career to improving the lives of the nation’s low-and moderate-income residents by increasing the flow of capital to underserved urban and rural areas for job creation and community revitalization. In his current role as Regional Manager of the NDC’s East Coast team, he leads a group of six development finance professionals who are working in dozens of communities to create small-business jobs and develop affordable housing, commercial real estate, and community facilities projects.
