Santiago, a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and a post graduate professor of the Institute of International Economy, is Director of McBains Cooper’s International division.

He has many years experience managing professional teams and advising clients throughout Europe and Latin America – governments, investors, banks and private companies – in several languages. He advises governments, SPVs, lenders and equity providers on PFI and PPP strategy, and led inter-disciplinary teams on some of the largest PPP infrastructure projects and programmes in Europe and Latin America including among other’s Madrid’s ring road, the development of the Greek PPP programme, the Mexican prisons and health programmes and the first PPP hospitals in Chile.

Santiago paid for his studies in Argentina by acting in American films, mainly playing the baddy. Nowadays he is an avid reader of anything World War ll-related, but his prime interest is collecting clocks and watches. Being a half Argentinean – half English family, when war breaks in the Klein household , it is down to three main subjects: Football, football and football.
